IIDA Knowledge Partner and Sponsor for EdSpaces Innovation Awards

IIDA will serve as both Knowledge Partner for EdSpaces and sponsor for the first annual EdSpaces Innovation Awards Dec. 4-6, 2013, in San Antonio, Texas. Hosted by the National School Supply and Equipment Association (NSSEA), the 2013 EdSpaces will recognize manufacturers and Designers for their excellence in designing new products that showcase innovation, function and aesthetic advancements for the learning environment. As part of its Knowledge Partnership, IIDA has been instrumental in building the event’s Education Conference, providing expertise and input on design-related sessions that will focus on state-of-the-art, sustainable design practices as well as the changing face of learning environments. These sessions will be IDCEC-accredited, and the full available education program can be viewed here.

The competition will be open to all exhibitors at EdSpaces. A call for entries with information and entry instructions will be available to distributors later this year. Both IIDA and NSSEA will announce the award winners at EdSpaces, and the winning products will be featured on both organizations’ websites.
